we came here to drink the beer
i understand you're hosting a party this weekend
and i was wondering if you'd be kind enough to invite me and my friends
we'll play it cool; we'll be real nice, won't give you any crap
oh and am i correct to assume that the beer will be on tap?
FUCK YEAH
we're drinking all your beer
no false pretense; let's make this clear
we'll camp by the keg 'til the end
there won't be anything left for you or your friends
i guess you probably thought 4 kegs would be enough
but man you underestimated; we're still here and hanging tough
we've got some staying power that you never could concieve
like homer jay at a buffet you just cannot get us to leave
take a hint, think twice
take a piece of this advice
you let us in; you fucked up
now close your mouth, give me a cup -- and fill it
and we're raiding your fridge too!
Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max. Amazing band, amazing album. Odiumediae
This is their most refined album yet, and man do they know how to show the world what neck-wrecking metal really is. The album is 10/10 the whole way through, love the tone of the guitar, the drums are relentless, bass is heavy as fuck, and I gotta say, “Living on Parole” is the funnest outro to an album I’ve listened to in a long time.
